Leo Kottke Recommendations

Widely acclaimed for his dexterous, driving guitar playing, Leo Kottke has forged a career that is strikingly consistent and meritorious. Kottke emerged in 1969 with an independent debut and found his voice two years later when he began recording for fellow acoustic guitarist John Fahey's Takoma label. He's since served stints with record labels Capitol, Crysalis, and Private, at times eschewing his trademark showy playing in favor of a more song-oriented approach.
